Who we are

DCAF’s Asia-Pacific Unit was established in 2017 in order to continue and expand DCAF’s ongoing engagement in Southeast Asia, and to expand its activities across other Asia-Pacific sub-regions. We provide support to nationally led security sector reform processes and regional security sector experience-sharing initiatives in cooperation with national, regional and international partners supporting SSG/R across the region

Our activities include multi-stakeholder dialogues, policy-guided research and capacity building for beneficiaries at regional, sub-regional and national levels.
